“EURO 2012″ as use-case

In order to give an example on how a social media monitoring tool can be used, the Austrian vendor Sensemetric analysed buzz around the EUFA EURO 2012. The vendor tracked and analysed what Austrian football-fans discussed on Twitter, Facebook, Foren, Blogs & Co.

Analysts looked for comments on the topic in the context of involved countries, for instance those of the hosts and favorites. Trend analyses showed development of sentiments over time.
